Ingredients for Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels
- Large Flour Tortillas. Don't use generic tortillas because they are difficult to roll and break apart easily. You can also use flatbread wraps or low-carb tortillas.
- Cream Cheese. A good quality creme cheese with no fillers works best. Generic forms often have extra and unnecessary filler.
- Pizza Sauce. Store-bought works perfectly fine, but make your own if you have none in the pantry and are pinched for time. Mix a jar of crushed tomatoes with minced garlic, olive oil, and oregano.
- Italian Seasoning. This seasoning blend includes Basil, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Sage, Garlic, Parsley, and possibly Coriander.
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Whole-fat mozzarella has the best flavor.
- Pepperoni. Beef or turkey pepperoni will both work.

Variations
Cooked sausage, bacon, or Canadian bacon instead of pepperoni.
Add a little chopped bell pepper or red pepper flakes.
Add a little bit of pineapple for a fun and slightly sweet take. Switch up with a white sauce such as Alfredo or pesto.
Add parmesan, colby jack, or any other cheese you enjoy. If it works on pizza, it will work for this pinwheels recipe. But you need to go easy because using too many will make the pinwheels fall apart, tear the tortillas, or be too bulky to roll.
