Easy Garlic Bread

This easy garlic bread recipe is from my French teacher in the 7th grade. This weekend I made some simple cheese bread to go with some pasta.  Sometimes I make this with garlic and sometimes without, just to change it up.  It is a great alternative to rolls with dinner.  All you need are these simple ingredients (plus minced garlic which I forgot to put in the photo):

Ingredients garlic bread

French rolls

Mayonnaise

Minced garlic (prepared or flakes)

Parmesan Cheese, shredded

Salad Supreme spice mix

Take your sandwich rolls and slice in half.  Coat with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

Then spread minced garlic or sprinkle dried minced garlic.  Then sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese.

Add a sprinkle of Salad Supreme (it is with the spices in your market’s spice section).

Garlic bread Salad Supreme

Bake at 375 oven for about 6-8 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Bubbling garlic bread

Serve as is or cut in half.  The flavors come together with the spices and makes a nice complement to soups, pastas and salads.

Enjoy!

  1. Sounds SO good! I think I need some tonight 🙂

Thanks for linking up with Super Sunday Sync, glad you came, hope to see you next week!

  2. Garlic bread – that is very lovely. I love garlic, even when it means that others have to suffer at times, although I try my best to avoid it, of course.

  3. Yummm! I make ‘garlic toast’ with meals sometimes, it’s literally as simple as broiling cut pieces of a baguette (at an angle so it looks fancy) and rubbing a cut piece of raw garlic all along the crispy sides. You wouldn’t believe how much yummy garlic flavor it infuses! It is, however, no substitue for gooey, cheesy garlic bread like this though!

I’ve made garlic bread the same way in the past. Isn’t it the softest? YUM! Thanks so much for linking up to Creative Thursday. Can’t wait to see what you share this week! Have a wonderful week.
