Fudgy Easter Brownie Ingredients

- butter – I prefer using unsalted butter. I also use real butter for the best flavor. You can substitute margarine if you wish.
- granulated sugar – white sugar
- eggs – Grade A large works best
- vanilla extract
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- all purpose flour
- salt
- Easter sprinkles – I used these
- crushed mini eggs – I used Cadbury mini eggs but you could also use a similar chocolate eggs candy
- Belgian white chocolate – I like this brand
- Candy color – in pastel shades (pink, blue, yellow, or purple)
- Kit Kat chocolate bunnies – optional but super cute!

Add the chocolate bunnies to the tops of the brownies.

Substitutions & Variations
- For less fudgy brownies – you can add a little more flour (about 1/3 cup and like 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder to the batter.
- Milk Chocolate – you can sub milk chocolate for the White chocolate topping
- Cream Eggs – If you can’t find the chocolate bunnies, you could decorate the tops of the brownies with mini creme eggs.
Storage
Store brownies in an airtight container in a single layer, if possible.
Timesaving Tips
- Let the brownies cool completely before drizzling with chocolate to prevent it from melting into the brownies.
- Use candy color instead of regular food coloring to properly tint white chocolate.
- Transfer melted chocolate into a piping bag or a small zip-top bag with the tip snipped off for precise drizzling.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the brownies cleanly, wiping it between cuts for the best presentation.
