What is a Dole Whip?
Today’s recipe is a wonderful frozen treat that is available at several Disney properties.
Just this month, Disney released their recipe for the beloved Dole Whip.
How to Make a Dole Whip?
Here’s what you need to make a dole whip:
1 scoop Vanilla ice cream
½ cup pineapple juice
2 cups pineapple frozen
You mix it all in a blender and then enjoy it and pretend you are at Disney! We are always looking for a way to celebrate the day, so I took it a step further.

Ingredients
Cake Mix – You can use a white or vanilla boxed cake mix for this recipe. I used a white one.
Pineapple –I used canned pineapple, but you can use fresh too!
Pineapple Juice – I’m partial Dole, but any pineapple juice will work for this recipe - even fresh pineapple juice.
How to Make Dole Whip Cupcakes
Step 1 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
Step 2- Prepare Cake mix in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3 - Bake as directed and prepare frosting
Step 4 - Frost cooled cupcakes with Pineapple Buttercream (recipe below) using a piping bag and tip.

I used a star tip as they use for the actual Dole Whips to frost.

The result is a delicious cupcake!
