Cranberry White Chocolate Scones
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter cut into small cubes
- ⅔ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup white chocolate chips or chunks plus more for drizzle
- ½ cup heavy cream plus more for brushing
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in dried cranberries and white chocolate.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream, egg, and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
