Turkey Cream Cheese Pinwheels Recipe

Like my crunchy turkey wraps and my Pizza rollups, these easy tortilla pinwheel sandwiches are made with simple ingredients like turkey, bacon and cheese, which you likely already have on hand.

How to Make Turkey Pinwheels
Step by Step Instructions Overview

Step 1 – Spread softened cream cheese evenly over tortillas

Step 2 – Add shredded cheese.

Step 3 – Add bacon crumbles.

Step 4 – Add turkey slices.

Step 4 – Roll tightly and chill.

Step 4 – Slice into bite-size pinwheels
Substitutions & Variations
- Sub sliced roast beef for the turkey slices.
- You can sub whole wheat wraps for the tortillas.
- Add feta cheese, Swiss cheese, or Parmesan in place of or in addition to the Cheddar.
- You can use low-fat cream cheese for a healthier choice.

- Use whipped cream cheese – this is perfect for this recipe and saves time as it is much more spreadable.
- Lay out all tortillas assembly line style and prepare multiple pinwheels at once to cut down on total prep time.
- Assemble the night before, wrap in plastic wrap, and slice just before serving.
- Use a serrated knife for bakery-style slices.
- Store rolls whole in the fridge and cut only what you need — perfect for parties and leftovers.

- You can make these up to 24 hours in advance as long as you store them tightly wrapped in the fridge

Turkey Pinwheels Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 9 oz thin sliced turkey
- 3.5 oz bag bacon pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup chopped lettuce
Instructions
- Mix the cream cheese and mayonnaise together in a small bowl. Divide and spread the mixture between the 4 tortillas.
- Sprinkle each tortilla with cheese, then bacon pieces, then lettuce. Top with turkey slices.
- Tightly roll each tortilla into itself, until you meet the other end. Wrap in plastic wrap.
- Chill for 1 hour or until ready to serve
- Once ready to serve, unwrap and use the serrated knife to cut the ends off, then into 6 one inch pieces.
- Arrange on a platter to serve.
