Valentines Tablescape Decor Ideas

As most of you know, I love to shop the dollar store.  Check out some cute ideas for a Dollar Store Valentines Tablescape.

I love to decorate for the holidays, but it can get expensive quickly, so when I can, I love to pick up items from the dollar store to save money. I am sharing a few things I have made for Valentine's Day over the years from the dollar store.

Valentine's tablescape

I love using picks to decorate for the holidays. You can put them in a variety of containers for your centerpiece or Valentine's tablescape.

Valentines decorations, cheap decorations

When I was there, I picked up these cute little heart containers.

Add them to a tray with some Raffia or candy and your centerpiece is doneDollar Store Centerpiece.jpg

You can also use dollar store mugs, decorated with sharpies to place on each setting.

Another fun decorating idea from the dollar store had me picking up some of their glass heart bowls.

Dollar Store Bowl

I took some of the plastic roses (also form the dollar store, and cut them close to the stem and filled the bowls with the flowers/

I also cut a few flowers just a little bit to keep the stems long,

and placed a stem on each place settingValentines Place Setting.jpg

More Valentine's Tablescape Ideas

One year, I picked up these little clay pots and used paint markers to decorate. These make cute table setting decor too!

Another great way to decorate is to make a Chalkboard Valentine's Sign.

You can also see in that photo that I used paint markers on mason jars.

Also in that photo are my Chalkboard boxes, another fun way to make a table festive.

It's always fun to decorate a table for a holiday!

It's easy to make a Valentine's Day tablescape with help from the dollar store! Make the day special for just a few dollars!

The sweetheart candies were also from the dollar store.  What do you do for Valentine's Day?

So clever, simple with big impact. I'm not a shopper so my husband is the one that goes to the dollar store a lot, I guess I'll have to go with him next time.

{Melinda} How adorable is that? And cheap, too. You can't beat that. Usually my Vday decorations amount to the flowers my hubby gives me in the center of my table! 🙂

How you are able to put together something so adorable from the Dollar Store is beyond me! You're so creative (and have a good eye. That's what kills me. I never know what would look good together and how to actually put it all together). I am going to try a version of this on Valentine's Day. My husband might faint from the surprise!
