Substitutions & Alterations
- You can substitute the snacks in this board. For example, Holiday nuts, Grinch bites or Christmas eggs would work well on this board.
- You can change out the fruit on this board.I like to include bright fresh fruits that go well with chocolate such as raspberries, apricots or cherries.
- You can change the cheese. You could add this Reindeer Cheese ball and a few crackers. I like to include some non-sweet stuff on the board. You can garnish with cherry tomatoes or pomegranate seeds
- Turn this into a Christmas dessert board – add candy canes, homemade candy and christmas cookies.

Time Saving Tips & Tricks
- Prepare the pretzels first, they need some time to set before serving.
- When making the pretzel reindeers, if you try to put the eyeballs on right after you have dipped the pretzels in chocolate, they will slide off and won’t stick. You need to wait about a minute and then attach them.
- You can make the Chex mix ahead of time and store it until ready.
- Store any leftovers in airtight containers.
