Most moms I know love flowers and while fresh flowers are great, there is nothing like something made to last a little longer. Some of my favorite gifts are those made by others, especially my kids when they were younger.
I have a little round-up today of lovely flower craft ideas for Mother's Day that you and your kids can make from some my crafty blogger friends. These also make great birthday gift ideas and many of the flower craft decor ideas are nice for a shower or spring party.
Flowers crafted and handmade with love make the best Mother's Day gifts. Each one of these is a great gift idea for other family members as well, any time of year. Some of these crafts are suitable for young children too!

Ah, how lovely these all are, it suddenly brought back a memory of these big paper flowers that my mom friend Mary use to show my sister and I how to make them. It was fun with a great end result.

The dried flower suncatcher is striking! I'm totally going to take that into consideration. The kids have three grandmothers and money is tight!
