Ingredients
- Sausage - I used a breakfast sausage, but you could use an Italian sausage
- Cream Cheese
- Tomatoes with green chilies -
- Cheese - This recipe uses Mozzerella and Parmesan Cheese

- chopped green pepper - use instead of red peppers.
- hot sausage - if you like spicy sausage, you can use a hot Italian sausage in place of the mild sausage

How to Make this Sausage Cream Cheese Dip
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375°. In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese and seasonings.
(Note - if using Italian sausage, sauté in a large skillet until brown, Drain excess grease from the browned sausage using a paper towel.)
Step 2- Add the sausage, diced tomatoes, banana peppers and cheese.
Step 3 -Mix well until blended.
Step 4 -Pour into a baking dish.
Bake as directed and enjoy. I like to throw a couple of peppers on the dip for presentation.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Slow Cooker Sausage Cheese Dip
This can be made in a croc pot slow cooker. I like to use a small crock pot for my hot dips, like this one.
How to Make Sausage Dip in Crock Pot
Step 1 - Place cooked and drained sausage, cheeses and tomatoes in 2 ½ to 3 ½ quart slow cooker.
Step 2 - Cover and cook on Low heat setting 3 - 4 hours, stirring halfway through cooking, until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
Step 3 - Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.

- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
- You can shred the cheese and cut the vegetables ahead of time so that the ingredients are prepped.
- You can add extra spices like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or cayenne pepper for depth of flavor.
- For a spicy dip - use pepper jack cheese or a little bit of hot sauce for a little kick.

Cheesy Dip with Sausage and Cream Cheese
Equipment

Ingredients
- 1 pound hot breakfast sausage cooked
- 12 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies drained
- ½ cup banana peppers
- ½ cup red bell peppers
- 2 cups mozzarella shredded
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 8 oz, block cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°. In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese and seasonings, stir until combined.
- Add the sausage, diced tomatoes, banana peppers, red bell peppers, mozzarella cheese (save ½ cup and set aside) and Parmesan, mix until combined and add to a greased 8x8 baking dish.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for 15 minutes, after the times up set oven to broil and let broil for 2-3 minutes until bubbly and brown.
- Serve with toasted baguette or tortilla chips!
