Substitutions & Variations

  • Non alcohol version – sub sparkling white grape juice for the champagne to make a mocktail version of this recipe.
  • Sparkling wine or sparkling rosé can be used in place of the champagne or Prosecco.
  • Optional Garnishes – Line the glass rim with caramel sauce or brown sugar in place of the cinnamon sugar. You could also garnish with a cinnamon stick.
  • Fall Flavors – While traditional mimosas are made with orange juice, you can use other juices such as cranberry or pomegranate for the apple cider.

It is not recommended. Apple cider is better for mixing cocktails than apple juice due to its deeper, more complex flavor profile.
