Simple Steak Salad

Now that the weather is getting warmer I am hoping to get out and work on my backyard. I am so inspired by all the DIY garden shows on TV and how they take an empty space and make it an outdoor living area.
During these warmer evenings, I love to make a steak and salad for dinner. One of my favorite simple dinners is to make a simple steak salad that combines the best of both.

Steak salad is easily prepared with some vegetables and steak, but chicken or salmon can also be substituted. In this photo I used a breakfast steak because the price is reasonable.

Because I wanted to save time, I used bagged lettuce on this particular evening.

  1. Looks like a perfect summer supper! My hubs often grills steak and serves it over greens. Our favorite is arugula dressed with a little lemon…. We’re getting going on our back patio too! Just sold our old furniture set in hopes of an upgrade! Can’t wait to see how it all comes together. Thanks for sharing!
