Easy Ribbon Craft Ideas to Make

Did you have a wonderful weekend? Honestly, the weekends to buy to darn fast for me. This weekend I saw friends and family and even got to do a little crafting. My mother and I made some fun crafts using ribbon. I

love getting inspiration from Pinterest and blogs and so today, I thought I would make Monday better with this round-up of Ribbon Craft Ideas. I love to buy seasonal colorful ribbons for craft projects. 

I used to make these ribbon wreaths out of cloth ribbon in middle school. We also used to make some fun bows for our hair and ribbon pillows, if anyone remembers those?

 

 

What I love about these ribbon crafting ideas is that you can put together a cute item in just a matter of minutes. Ribbon is often on sale and does not cost a lot either, generally, you can find a nice assortment of ribbon to last you all season online or in craft stores. I want to try to make those cute ribbon roses but have not attempted it yet.

Ribbon is also great to add a fun element to handmade or hand-stamped greeting cards. Just glue with a glue gun to add a nice little embellishment. I have an assortment of small ribbon in my craft supply closet.

I love how a simple ribbon can just make something extra special. Ribbon crafts are great for easy clean-up summertime activities for the kids too. We have decorated several pairs of flip-flops over the years for the 4th of July and summer in general. They are also fun on mason jars, hair bows and bulletin boards.

The crafts listed here use different types of ribbon. Fabric ribbon, tulle ribbon and satin ribbon are the most commonly used ribbons. You can find some great cheap ribbons ones at some dollar stores too, although the variety available is usually pretty limited.
