This patriotic popcorn is a fun and festive way to celebrate patriotic holidays. This Red, White and Blue snack is super easy to make and great as a party snack or as party favors.
It is the perfect treat for summer celebrations, Fourth of July, Memorial day or Labor day. It is also great for a Captain America birthday party and the whole family can enjoy it.
This Red White and Blue 4th of july treat is a fun way to share snacks that the guests can enjoy. This easy snack is made with just a few simple ingredients.

Red, White and Blue popcorn Ingredients
- Popcorn. Either air popped popcorn or non-buttered microwave popcorn. You will need about 4 - 5 cups of popcorn.
- Candy Melts. I used red, blue and white candy melts
- Festive Sprinkles.
- Red and blue m&m candies.

Variations & Sugstitutions
- This is our favorite snack when watching movies. You can change up the colors of the candy melts and even combine some for more variations.
- You can add more colored candies to the mix.
- You can make chocolate covered popcorn by adding some melted white chocolate chips and drizzling over popcorn in the same manner.
Instructions
Step 1 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread popcorn in a single layer. Remove any unpopped popcorn kernels.

Step 2 - Melt the candy melts as directed and drizzle over popcorn, one color at a time. Let set.
Step 3 - Serve in a large bowl or individual containers and enjoy. Add m & m candies. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Serving and Storage
- Serve in clear snack bags. These also make a nice party favor or lunch box surprise.
- Use this 4th of July popcorn to make your own popcorn mix. It makes a great snack mix for a 4th of July party.

This tasty treat is so much fun to make. Make sure your popcorn is freshly popped for best results.

Equipment
- Cookie sheet
- 3 small microwave safe bowls
Ingredients
- 5-6 cups Popcorn
- Candy Melts - red and blue
- Festive Sprinkles
- m&m candies
Instructions
- Make popcorn in an air popper, microwave or stove top.Remove any unpopped kernels.
- Spread popped corn on a parchment lined baking sheet or cookie sheet.
- Place candy melts in a microwave safe bowls, by color.
- Microwave one bowl bowl on low at 30 second intervals until melted.
- Stir well.
- Using a fork, drizzle melted candy over popcorn.
- Repeat process 4-6 for each candy color.
- Let cool about 20 minutes.
