Patriotic Popcorn

This red, white, and blue popcorn is the perfect festive snack for your 4th of July celebration. Made with candy melts and sprinkles, it's sweet and salty and full of crunch. Great for parties, movie nights, or gifting in treat bags.

Equipment

  • Cookie sheet
  • 3 small microwave safe bowls

Ingredients

  • 5-6 cups Popcorn
  • Candy Melts - red and blue
  • Festive Sprinkles
  • m&m candies

Instructions

  • Make popcorn in an air popper, microwave or stove top.Remove any unpopped kernels.
  • Spread popped corn on a parchment lined baking sheet or cookie sheet.
  • Place candy melts in a microwave safe bowls, by color.
  • Microwave one bowl bowl on low at 30 second intervals until melted.
  • Stir well.
  • Using a fork, drizzle melted candy over popcorn.
  • Repeat process 4-6 for each candy color.
  • Let cool about 20 minutes.

Notes

This tasty treat is so much fun to make. Make sure your popcorn is freshly popped for best results.
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
