Have you noticed that Fall Decorations are starting to pop up everywhere? While I am attempting to savor these last weeks of summer, I do get a little giddy at the thought of pumpkins, football, cooler weather and fall foliage.
I like to welcome each season with some easy fall decorating ideas for the home. These items do not have to be expensive. I have found several ways to make some beautiful fall decorations for just a few dollars. This post contains affiliate links.
Hello Friends!
Can you believe that fall is nearly here? I am thinking that it is now becoming my favorite season. I have always enjoyed the carefree days of summer, but there is just something about falling leaves, pumpkins and sweaters and boots that just make me smile.
My latest obsession is to decorate the tiered trays for the season. I just love finding little things to change up the decor simply and inexpensively.
You can find some decent trays here, but once you find one you like, decorating them is easy with small items that are relatively inexpensive.
Most of the items are from Homegoods and Target. I love that I can find some inexpensive decor there. The Bulls Eye Playground section is like a candy store to me. I found both of these little signs there.
Aren't they just the cutest. I also had to get this one.
But I have also found some items at the dollar store that work for decor.
A few years ago, I made these cute flower baskets for my fall place settings. All I needed was a few flowers, floral foam, and little tote bags. All of these are from the dollar store. So the total cost for this project is $3.00. But wait, the totes came in packages of three for a dollar - score!
Using a knife, I trimmed the floral foam to a smaller square and placed one in each tote bag. Then I cut the flowers so that they would fit the bag. I placed three flowers in each.
Voila! So easy!
Easy fall decorating ideas do not have to be expensive. This little tote floral project looks great on a mantle or on a place setting.
Would you like to save this?
You really can take cheap fall decorations to a new level with a little creativity! I was able to make three cute fall totes for a total cost of $1 each. I just love to incorporate fall colors into my home with items from the dollar store because there is no need to spend a ton of money decorating your place for just a couple of months.
