This Chicken Asparagus Casserole is one of those meals that requires only a little bit of preparation, then it bakes in the oven for a while, making the kitchen smell wonderful and allowing some time do do other things while it bakes.
I made this the other evening after a day of watching football. Even though it is still preseason, football feels like fall to me. We do not get the beautiful fall colors on trees like our friends on the east coast will see. But it does bring cooler temperatures which mean football, and comforting casseroles. This was the perfect excuse to make one.
This casserole is easily made with chicken tenders, fresh asparagus and my secret ingredient, Tessamae’s All Natural Lemon Garlic dressing.

Chicken Asparagus Casserole
Preheat oven 350.°
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Coat chicken tender pieces in flour.
When oil is hot, fry each tender for about 4 minutes each side until light brown.
