These fun Carrot Rice Krispie Treats are a fun way to celebrate the season. Cute little carrot-shaped rice krispie treats are sure to delight at your Easter brunch or gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 10 oz bag marshmallows
  • 3 drops orange food gel
  • 1 bag edible grass

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, melt the butter on low heat and then add in marshmallows stirring often. I usually add the together and stir very frequently until melted.
  • Once melted turn off heat and stir in the food gel. Mix well.
  • Add in six cups of rice krispies cereal and stir well into all are coated with the orange marshmallow mixture.
  • Let it cool slightly then remove from pan and shape into carrots. Push a thumb into the top to make a hole.
  • Cut the edible grass into section and place into the top of the carrot hole and press the hole around the grass to keep in place.
  • Serve!
