  • pretzel sticks or. mini pretzels
  • white chocolate. chips
  • Easter sprinkles
  • Easter candy,

Substitutions & Serving Suggestions

This easter bunny bait recipe can be modified by changing up the cereal. You can also use white chocolate chips in place of the almond bark.

This is the perfect easter treat to serve as a fun snack mix or dessert. It is also fun as an Easter party favor. Just pour mix into individual treat bags and wrap with. a ribbon.

How to Make bunny bait trail mix 

Step 1 – Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or wax peper
Layer on the chex cereal in an even layer.

Step 2 – Layer pretzels, cheerios, and marshmallows over cereal mixture.

Step 3 – Sprinkle the M and M’s over the top.

Step 4 – In a separate bowl, melt the candy melts, by microwaving on 30 second increments, stirring well between.
Drizzle half of the candy over the mixture.

Step 5 – Add remaining melted candy and then toss to coat. Let set about 1 hour.

Step 6 – Transfer Bunny Bait candy mix to a large bowl.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups rice chex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups itty bitty mini twist pretzels
  • 3 cups cheerios cereal
  • 1 cup Easter pastel M&M candies
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 24 oz. vanilla almond bark

Instructions
 

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Layer on the chex cereal, pretzels, cheerios, M&Ms, and marshmallows.
  • Melt the candy melts, by microwaving on 30 second increments, stirring well between.
  • Drizzle half of the candy over the mixture, and then toss to coat.
  • Drizzle half of the remaining, and toss again.
  • Drizzle the rest of the almond bark, and let the candy set for about an hour.
  • Before serving, break the candy up into pieces.
