  • salad dressing – I love using an Italian salad dressing to add zest to chicken., I loved how it complimented the flavors of the chicken and asparagus.
  • Cream of Chicken soup

Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 
  • 1 1/2 lbs. chicken tenders
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus
  • 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup Italian Salad Dressing

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat
  • Add flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and mix together. Place on a shallow bowl or plate.
  • Coat chicken tender pieces in flour mixture
  • Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the skillet once the oil is hot.
  • Fry each tender for about 4 minutes each side until light brow
  • While chicken is frying, wash asparagus and cut off the rough ends.
  • Place asparagus in the pan around the chicken pieces.
  • In a small bowl, mix together soup and dressing,
  • Pour the dressing and soup mixture over the chicken and asparagus.
  • Cover and cook until a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the meat reads 165°F and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
