I know it is crazy snowing in some places. But here in California, the weather has been so nice and warm. The high has been in the 70's most days this week.

We really need the rain, so hopefully it will be coming next week, but in the meantime, it feels like spring.

Plants are blooming early and birds are chirping like it is May.

So I decided to add some flowers to my desk in the form of Washi Tape.

Here is the stapler before....

Then with a little tape here and there...

And before you know it, my stapler was Spring-a-fied!

Now my home office is a happier place. Do you use washi tape?  I could go crazy with this stuff. If you use it, let me know what you have made with it in the comments.

Nice! Those office staplers are so hideous. You made it beautiful. I've never used Washi tape, but I can see myself having a lot of fun with it.

I've used Washi Tape a couple of times in making some cards; what a great idea to brighten up your desk. OK, well I think I need to brighten up mine too! Thanks for a great idea, I wonder what else I can use it on......My desk will look so colorful!

What a great use of Washi Tape, This would be great at work to stop people "borrowing" my stuff! (apparently the fact my name is sellotaped on is not enough!!!) and my things would be pretty too - win win!

That stapler looks like it should swagger down the streets! Beautiful. What a difference some washi tape made. I use it to seal letters and cards that I write (I'm a bit of a paper junkie), it adds something a little different to the envelope. Visiting via SITSShare Saturday linkup.

I love this idea. I was just rummaging around in a drawer the other day when I can across our old stapler just like this one. Now I know what I will be doing this weekend.
