Visiting Versailles

Today is a really more of a Less-word Wednesday, than a Wordless Wednesday. I am featuring a Travel Series on the blog this month and wanted to share some photos from France. So today I thought I would share a few shots from the open market in the town of Versailles, France taken a couple of years ago.

Visiting-Town-Versailles-France

These were taken visiting the town of Versailles, not at the Palace of Versailles. Visiting Versailles is something I would recommend, especially if you are planning to visit the nearby palace. The town was exquisite and quaint and these photos were taken at the Place du Marché Notre-Dame (the Market Square).

This month I will be talking about planning a family vacation, packing and travel tips for the family and how to travel frugally. Today I am sharing some money-saving tips while traveling over at Blue Promo Code.com . Hope you can stop by and say Bonjour!

I would love to go there so badly. Cassidy lived in France one summer when he was a teenager or young 20-something. I've never left North America!

I have been wanting to visit both Versailles and the palace for years! I live over in Italy and I always think that the markets are where you get the true flavor of a city.

I have visited France before, but never Versailles. I love the open air markets that are found in Europe. Great photos. Thanks for sharing at the This is How We Roll Link Party!
