Spring Time Decor for Brunch

Spring is finally here! I do not know about you, but I am usually ready to say goodbye to winter when spring rolls around. It’s time to celebrate with some spring time decor!
I just love when the flowers start blooming and the days get longer. As you know we really enjoy celebrating the moments at our home so the other day, my daughter and I thought a spring craft session was in order. We also wanted to incorporate Dum Dums lollipops as they are sponsoring this craft post.
We decided to craft some Dum Dums candy dragonflies to decorate our table for a weekend brunch.
We thought that a hosting a simple brunch is a spring celebration idea that would allow us to enjoy the morning with friends, but would not cost a lot of money. These cute little guys were not only easy to make but were made with supplies that we already had at home. They came out so cute don’t you think?

These would be cute for a party table, as a party favor or even on a flower napkin!

First we folded the napkins into little rosebuds and then sat a cute little dragonfly party decoration right on it.

Spring Time Decor – Supplies Needed:
scrapbook paper
tissue paper
Dum Dums candy pops
glue gun
candy eyes or beads
Save The Recipe!
Step 1: Wrap paper around the Dum Dums pop and glue.Step 2: Cut out and decorate wings (you can use tissue paper or scrapbook paper)
Step 3: Glue on eyes. A glue gun works best
Step 4: Attach wings and let dry.

We celebrated just being with each other and I think that the arrival of spring is a great reason to celebrate – don’t you? How do you celebrate spring?

Special thanks to Dum Dum’s and the Spangler Company for sponsoring this post. See more great candy craft ideas on their site. All opinions, ideas and photos are my own.

My kids would be so delighted because Dum Dums are king in my house. I still get so excited to get a cherry one. I really love all things spring – decorations, crafts, recipes, colors.
