With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, if you are hosting a dinner at your home, you may want to make a cocktail for the adults to enjoy. While popular drinks on this day are Black and Tans or Irish Whiskey, or a Black and Brown. It’s basically half root beer and half Guinness. You have to pour it slowly otherwise you will get a ton of foam. Either way it is frothy.

And while Guinness is great for drinks, I personally would much rather cook with it. Guinness is a stout so it is heavier and thicker, and using Guinness in food recipes adds richness and toastiness to meat dishes and enhances the chocolate taste in desserts.
So if you happen to have a little Guinness leftover here are some tasty Guinness recipes for you.
