Do you get as excited about spring arriving as I do? I enjoy everything from the sunnier mornings to the flowers blooming and at the risk of sounding like a fairytale “princesa”, I love when the birds start chirping out my window.

As fun as winter is, I am always so excited and ready for spring when it arrives. We can say goodbye to rainy, wet weather and hello to warmer days. The other day, when I was on my weekly shopping trip to Target, (ok twice weekly trip), I saw a few fun things that reminded me of spring.

One of the things I saw was in the scented candle aisle.

I found my gift items to celebrate spring in my neighborhood Target!

Have you seen the new scents here? I picked up these Glade® Radiant Berries™  scented candles that were so pretty and colorful.

Candles make a great gift idea to celebrate the season!

I loved the aroma and I liked that it made me think of the spring days to come.

Before I got to the cashier, I came up with a plan to make some "Welcome Spring Baskets" for my friends to prepare for the warmer months. I imagined an inexpensive gift idea that would brighten their day.

I think every day is worth celebrating and just the fact the spring is on its way is reason enough to give someone a little gift, don't you think?

So I picked up these little baskets and found a few things to fill them that would bring some liveliness and brightness into their lives by preparing for spring.

The bright and bold red and plum colors of the candle inspired me to pick up some lovely flower seeds, mini flowerpots, pretty potting spades, lip balm and colorful gloves! Most of the items were in the dollar section so it did not cost much.

Making a gift for a friend to celebrate the season is a great way to celebrate the small moments! #SienteGladeI was going to have fun with these! I wrapped the lip balm in some washi tape in a pretty berry color.

Celebrate spring with your friends by making them a cute gardening basket!

Then I put the items in the baskets and made some little tags to decorate the la primavera (spring) baskets.

These little baskets would be fun to give to friends and I think I am going to leave one on the desks of each of the girls at work too!

Who wouldn’t want a nice little gardening starter set?

These cute planting gift baskets are a wonderful way to celebrate the warmer weather! Thanks to the inspiration from Glade®, spring will have sprung for my amigas!

Celebrate spring with the lovely scents of the season! #SienteGlade

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little.
