Hello Friends!

I'm making every effort to truly live a mindful life and enjoy and savor each season. It's the little moments in the day that make our attitude and today I am sharing a fun fall trail mix recipe with you.

I have been working on some fall decorating and although I really do not want summer to end, I do enjoy celebrating the arrival of fall. I was making some fall decor items with my mother the other day and got a little hungry.

So. while I was sitting there in the midst of leaves, orange ribbon, twine and pumpkins, and I was inspired to make this fall-themed trail mix to munch on.

So I made one in just a few minutes. What I love is that it makes for a fun twist on a mostly healthy snack idea. We love snacking while crafting and binge watching our shows.

I love the sweet and salty combination and am somewhat addicted to this easy snack. This can be made quite quickly and I love to store it in a mason jar so that we can snack on it when needed. You can pack it up in a jar and put a ribbon around it as a fun gift idea for a friend, coworker or teacher.

Trail mix is also great for packing in lunches or an afternoon snack. I love putting a surprise snack together for my family that really doesn't take a lot of effort.

I think part of embracing the season is enjoying the colors and flavors of fall. That's what makes this simple trail mix recipe so fun. You can put it in little bags tied with jute rope for a fall gathering too!

I'm glad your dad is feeling better.
We haven't decorated yet. It's still 90 degrees and school hasn't started.. yet. Tomorrow it starts! Then maybe it's time to buy the new pecan pie M&Ms!

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little. I loved baking cookies with my mother and grandma as a child, and later making dinners for my parents to foster my passion while in high school. I also had a passion for organizing and keeping things tidy.
