Dollar Store Christmas Crafts

Dollar store Christmas decorations are so fun to make and are truly some of my favorite Christmas decor ideas to make. I love to update my holiday decorating theme with a few crafts made from dollar tree items. These easy Christmas craft ideas are easy to make and do not take a lot of time.

Dollar Store Christmas Decorations

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday.  We had a nice time hosting the family at our house.  We spent the afternoon watching football and relaxing.  Now that Thanksgiving is over it is time to gear up for Christmas.   Recently my mother and I worked on some Dollar Store Christmas crafting ideas after a trip to the dollar store.

These are some of the items we started with a napkin holder,

Dollar tree napkin holder

and also some tree ornaments, (they have so many to chose from there),

My favorite dollar tree crafts start with ornaments from the dollar store.

Dollar Store Christmas Decorations

For this craft project, I chose glittery gold and silver Christmas Trees. These inexpensive ornaments also are great to add to a Christmas wreath or one wrapped Christmas gifts for instant sparkle!

I also picked up some ribbon and a picture frame. You can use any size frame, but I like the 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 frames because they are the perfect size to complement the look without overpowering it.

Dollar Store photo frame

Each item shown here only cost me one dollar each.  Isn't that a great deal?

Using a glue gun, I glued a couple of the ornaments to the napkin holder and then wrapped a ribbon around it.

Then, to make a festive table centerpiece, I wrapped some gold, sparkly ribbon around the photo frame,

I then glued the ribbon at the back and attached an ornament to the front of the frame. What a cute, inexpensive decoration for a tabletop or buffet!

Then I took the bulb ornaments and put them in a bowl that I had, with a candle in the center.

This is what my decorations look like when put together on a surface. I am going to use them on my dinner table, but you can see here what they look like together.

These Christmas decor items are beautiful on a buffet or at tables or mantels.  and you will be glad how little you paid to make them.

Cheap Christmas Decorations

You can add a few pine cones or some cute snow globes to make for a beautiful holiday theme.
