If you are familiar with Old Towne Orange, California, you are likely familiar with Citrus City Grille. This classic and well-known eatery has been serving delicious meals since it first opened in 1996. We had a chance to attend a media tasting recently to see what was new since our last visit.
The biggest news is that they are under new ownership.

New Owner of Citrus City Grille
Restaurant industry veteran Charlie Cosmas, alongside his family, have been longtime patrons of Citrus City Grille, and as of July 2022 have taken over day to day operations as the new owners. Former owner Steve Tsirtsis and Charlie Cosmas happen to share a greek heritage, which has been a hugely influential part of the Citrus City Grille menu and ethos.
Citrus City Grille Menu
Citrus City Grille has been serving up delicious contemporary American and Mediterranean classics since opening and I am happy to tell you that they have kept their reputation in tact with their latest offerings, from cocktails to desserts.

We started our evening with a couple of cocktails. I enjoyed the French 75 cocktail while my husband enjoyed one of their fabulous martinis. (They have many to choose from the largest menu of martinis that I have seen) Both cocktails were refreshing and tasty.
I need to mention that they have a daily Happy hour at the bar area, and I know I will definitely be back to try some of their martini offerings.

Their current seasonal menu offers a unique variety of small plates, main courses, pasta, and sides, all made-to-order and prepared using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
Their Organic Greens salad is a truly delicious seasonal salad. Made with fresh greens, cranberries, apples and pecans, it is one I plan to recreate at home for the season.

I enjoyed the Broccoli Gnocchi pasta with sirloin, which was a special that evening and my husband enjoyed the Branzino. Both delicious menu items that were served in generous portions.

Tips for Your Visit
- The restaurant has daily specials so be sure to hear them before ordering. The attentive servers will be happy to share the specials of the day with you.
- Save room for dessert from their in-house pastry chef. If you plan to order their seasonal or chocolate soufflé, you must order at least 30 minutes in advance as it takes a while to bake! I highly suggest you try one. We enjoyed the Grand Marnier Soufflé and it was absolutely delicious.
- They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend that you make a reservation, especially if you are visiting for dinner or a holiday.

Citrus City Grille is a great place to gather any time of year. They offer lunch, dinner and Saturday and Sunday Brunch. They offer Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, and Gluten Free Options, so there is something for everyone.
Are there any specials or promotions?
