Equipment

  • medium bowl
  • cutting board
  • Serrated knife

Ingredients

  • 3 large flour tortillas
  • 4 oz cream cheese - softened
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cooked bacon - crumbled
  • 6 slices deli turkey
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 large tomato - thinly sliced
  • 3 to 4 fresh romaine lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface or cutting board. Evenly spread a couple tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture over the tortilla.
  • Sprinkle a third of the crumbled bacon on top. Arrange 2 slices of deli turkey and 2 slices of provolone cheese down the center. Add a few slices of tomato and a layer of romaine lettuce.
  • Starting from one side, roll the tortilla up tightly.
  • Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  • Place the rolled tortillas in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up - this makes slicing cleaner and easier.
  • Remove from the freezer and slice each roll into 5 to 6 pinwheels. Serve immediately or chill until ready to enjoy

Notes

Use burrito-size tortillas for easy rolling and uniform slices.
