Taco Pinwheels

These easy chicken taco pinwheels are the ultimate make-ahead party appetizer. Made with seasoned chicken, cream cheese, and tortillas, they’re perfect for game day, potlucks, or busy weeknights. Slice and serve cold for a quick finger food everyone loves.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 oz packet taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 ¼ cup cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 roma tomato diced small

Instructions

  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, and hot sauce to a bowl, and stir until well combined.
  • Lay out the tortillas, and divide the mixture evenly between them, and spread across the entire surface.
  • Sprinkle chicken across the tortillas, then cheese, then tomatoes.
  • Start from one end, and tightly roll the tortillas into themselves, until it meets the other end.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
  • Once ready to serve, remove the plastic wrap, then use a bread knife to cut the tortillas into 1 inch pieces, discaring (or snacking on) the ends.
  • Arrange flat on a platter to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
