Pour oil into outdoor fryer. Bring oil to 350 degrees F.
Make sure wings are fully defrosted.
Rinse wings and pat with paper towels until completely dry.
Carefully place wings into the basket and lower into the cooker. Cook until golden or desired crispiness.
Remove from pot and drain excess oil.
In a saucepan on the stove over medium-low heat, mix together honey garlic sauce ingredients: soy sauces, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, pepper and cornstarch.
Heat the sauce on low-medium heat until it comes to a boil and thickens. Turn off heat.
Place wings in a bowl and add the sauce. Toss well.
Add in diced green onion and toss well. Serve.
