- 1 pint strawberries
- 1 pint blueberries
- 2 apples we used Pink Lady for this recipe
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons lime juice
Wash and dry the strawberries, blueberries, and apples.
Cut off the tops of the strawberries and quarter them. Add to a large mixing bowl.
Add the blueberries to the bowl with the strawberries.
Slice the apples into rounds about ¼-inch thick. Use a small star-shaped cookie cutter to
punch out apple stars from each slice. Add the apple stars to the fruit bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and lime juice until smooth.
Pour the honey lime dressing over the fruit and toss gently to combine.
Chill for 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Use firm fruit: Choose ripe but firm strawberries and blueberries so they hold up well, especially if you’re making it ahead.
Avoid browning: If using bananas or apples, add them right before serving and toss with a bit of lemon or lime juice to prevent browning
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
