Cavatappi Pasta

Simple recipe for Cavatappi Pasta with vegetables.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb mild (sweet) sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups Cavatappi Pasta
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 6 mini peppers
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated


  • Bring a large pot of water to boiling.
  • Add Cavatappi pasta and cook 8-10 minutes until al dente
  • Wash and chop mini peppers
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove sausage casing and brown in skillet, breaking up sausage into small bits.
  • Once sausage is completely browned, remove from heat and set asid.
  • Return skillet to medium-low heat and saute zucchini and peppers until tender.
  • Add sausage and cooked pasta and heat through.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and fold gently.
  • Serve immediately.
