Cavatappi Pasta

Simple recipe for Cavatappi Pasta with vegetables.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb mild (sweet) sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups Cavatappi Pasta
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 6 mini peppers
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated


  1. Bring a large pot of water to boiling.

  2. Add Cavatappi pasta and cook 8-10 minutes until al dente

  3. Wash and chop mini peppers

  4. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.

  5. Remove sausage casing and brown in skillet, breaking up sausage into small bits.

  6. Once sausage is completely browned, remove from heat and set asid.

  7. Return skillet to medium-low heat and saute zucchini and peppers until tender.

  8. Add sausage and cooked pasta and heat through.

  9. Add Parmesan cheese and fold gently.

  10. Serve immediately.
