Mini Firecracker Cakes

Mini firecracker cakes are a fun and festive patriotic dessert. Made with simple ingredients, these are an easy 4th of July dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • red candy melts
  • blue candy melts
  • white candy melts

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350° f.
  • Prepare mini bundt pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, prepare box mix as directed on package with an electric mixer.
  • Pour batter into mini bundt pan.
  • Bake as directed, using the time indicated for cupcakes.
  • Let cool and prepare candy melts in microwave.
  • Drizzle cand mets over bundt cakes.

Notes

  • For best results, , place on cooling rack or plate before drizzling candy melts.
  • Greasing pans with shortening and lightly dusting with flour will also work.
  • Watch closely while warming candy melts in the microwave;
