These colorful treats are as fun to make as they are to eat! Made with marshmallows and Fruity Pebbles, they’re sweet, chewy, and perfect for parties. A bright twist on the classic rice krispie treat and so fun!
4tablespoonssalted butteror unsalted + ½ teaspoon salt
1 ½10 oz bags mini marshmallows
6cupsFruity Pebbles cereal
Instructions
Line a 9 x13” baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
Once the butter is melted, add one full bag of mini marshmallows. Stir frequently until completely melted. If using unsalted butter, stir in ½ teaspoon of salt at this point.
Remove the pot from heat. Quickly stir in the Fruity Pebbles until fully coated.
Add the remaining half bag of mini marshmallows and gently fold them in.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Press it down into an even layer (spraying your hands or a spatula with cooking spray can help prevent sticking).
Let sit at room temperature for about 30–45 minutes or until set.
Once firm, lift out of the pan, transfer to a clean surface, and slice into bars.
