Easy Cocoa Rice Krispie Treats (No-Bake Chocolate Dessert)

These easy Cocoa Rice Krispie treats are chewy, delicious and perfect for a quick dessert. With simple ingredients, these no bake treats are ready in minutes for an easy family favorite snack.

Equipment

  • large saucepan
  • baking pan
  • sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 40 large marshmallows
  • 6 cups Cocoa Krispie Cereal
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Grease baking dish with butter or margarine or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low,
  • Stir in the marshmallow and cook on low, stirring constantly, until the marshmallows are fully melted. Remove from the heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cocoa Rice Krispies with themarshmallow mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop cereal mixture into the prepared 11x7-inch pan and use a buttered spatula to spread out evenly.
  • Remove the Rice Krispies treats from the pan and place on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut into 12 squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container. 
Be sure to butter the baking dish for easy serving and clean up.
