Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispie Treats

- 6 cups rice krispie cereal
- 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 bag Ghirardelli's dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1/3 cup marshmallow bits
- 10 red paper straws
Melt butter on low then add in five and a half cups miniature marshmallows in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir often until fully melted.
Stir rice Krispies into marshmallow mixture until well incorporated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour cereal mixture into prepared pan. Press down with a spatula. Let dry 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes cut the krispies into squares. Melt Ghirardelli's chocolate as directed on the bag in a microwave safe bowl.
Place the straw into the rice krispy treats. Dip the krispy treat into the chocolate. Pull out and place on parchment paper. Immediately add marshmallow bits to the outside before the chocolate dries.
