This Easy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Casserole is creamy, comforting and delicious. Tender chicken, fresh broccoli and pasta is combined with a creamy Alfredo sauce and topped with melted mozzarella cheese. A delicious comfort food casserole recipe.
4cupsbroccoli floretsfresh broccoli is preferred but you can use frozen
12ozpastapenne or rotini
2cupsAlfredo saucestore-bought or homemade
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
½cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
Salt and pepperto taste
½cupbread crumbsoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Blanch the broccoli (if using fresh) by boiling it for 2-3 minutes, then draining. If using frozen, thaw it first.
In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the mozzarella, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
