Cheese Dip with Ground Beef
This Cheese Dip with Ground Beef is a delicious hot appetizer dip. Made with beans, cheese and ground beef and spiced just right. Great as a game day appetizer or tailgate food. Hot and cheesy and great with corn chips or tortilla chips. A fun and easy party appetizer.

- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can refried beans
- 1/2 cup mild red salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese blend I like Monterey Jack/Cheddar
- 1 tablespoon regular taco seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
In a frying pan over medium heat, brown onions and ground beef.
Use a wooden spoon to crumble beef into small pieces
Drain when beef is brown. Add taco seasoning and set aside.
Preheat over to 350°.
In a bowl, mix together refried beans, salsa and chili powder.
In a small casserole pan, add browned ground beef as bottom layer.
Add bean and salsa mixture.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake uncovered in oven about 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
