This Air fryer Bang Bang Salmon is a flaky, perfectly cooked salmon made in the air fryer. Lightly battered and coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet Bang Bang sauce for an easy dinner idea.

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 oz salmon - or 2 fillets
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon green onion - chopped

Instructions

  • Make the bang bang sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  • Season the salmon with the onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Rub with ¼ cup of the prepared sauce and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Plate the salmon, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and garnish with the green onion. Serve with rice if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Adjust spice levels by adding more or less sriracha.
The salmon should flake easily with a fork and have an internal temperature of 145°F when done.
