Bacon Broccoli Quiche
Bacon Broccoli Quiche is a perfect brunch or breakfast dish. A buttery crust is filled with a eggs, broccoli, cheese and bacon for a delicious breakfast bake or lunch idea. Great for holiday menus because you can make ahead this egg casserole.

- 1 pie crust
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup broccoli florets
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 strips of bacon cooked and chopped
Prepare broccoli. You want tender broccoli.
If using a Frozen Pie shell you will need to thaw 10 minutes. If using a pre-made pie crust add it to a pie dish.
Poke holes in crust with fork. Place pie crust on a baking sheet.Pre-bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees f.
Prepare bacon in a large skillet or in the microwave and drain.
In a large bowl mix eggs, milk, and nutmeg in a bowl.
Add the bacon, chopped broccoli and cheese to the crust.Pour egg mixture into crust.
Place quiche on a cookie sheet and cook 20 – 30 minutes in 350°oven until top is golden and puffed.
Let cool a few minutes before cutting.
