Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Red Himalayan salt
  • 4-5 Stalks of fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • Let your bundle of rosemary dry. You can hang it up in a bundle away from any heat or moisture until it is brittle, or you can put it in a dehydrator for a few hours on the herbs and spice setting.
  • Grind down your red Himalayan salt into a fine powder.
  • Remove the rosemary leaves from the stalks. Grind it down with a mortar and pestle or a herb grinder. You can also chop it into small pieces as well.
  • Add the salt and the chopped rosemary into your mason jar and shake until it is combined.

Notes

  • You can buy fine Himalayan salt instead and skip the grinding step. 
You can also use an alternative salt as well.
  • Store your seasonings in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. This will help them to stay fresh and flavorful for longer.
  • Taste your seasoning as you go. This will help you to adjust the flavors to your liking.
