- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups cooking oats
- 1 cup flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅔ cup milk chocolate chips
1. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugars eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
2. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
3. Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture.
4. Fold in oats.
5. Fold in chocolate chips
6. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 12 - 13 minutes in 375° oven until light brown
