Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold butter and use your hands to quickly incorporate the butter into the flour mixture. The mixture will resemble coarse sand with large bumps.
Add the heavy cream and vanilla. Use a spatula to mix the ingredients until the dough begins to form. Fold in the peaches.
Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and gently knead the dough into a ball.
Pat or roll the dough into a 1-inch thick circle. Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 triangles.
Place the scones on the prepared sheet pan and refrigerate them for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Take the scones out of the refrigerator and brush them lightly with heavy cream.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until scones are golden brown around the edges. Let the scones cool completely.
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the scones. Serve and enjoy!
