Equipment

  • 1 mixer
  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Large spoon or spatula

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 lb. red grapes
  • 2 lb. green grapes
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
  • Fold the grapes, and 1 cup of pecans into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Add to your serving dish.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar over top of the salad, then sprinkle over the remaining pecans.
  • Chill for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese: This ensures a smooth, lump-free creamy sauce.
  • Thoroughly wash and dry the grapes: Using a paper towel or clean tea towels, ensure the grapes are dry to prevent excess water from thinning the dressing.
  • Chill before serving: Let the salad sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
