1 Large Bowl
1 Large spoon or spatula
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 lb. red grapes
- 2 lb. green grapes
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
Fold the grapes, and 1 cup of pecans into the cream cheese mixture.
Add to your serving dish.
Sprinkle the brown sugar over top of the salad, then sprinkle over the remaining pecans.
Chill for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
- Use room temperature cream cheese: This ensures a smooth, lump-free creamy sauce.
- Thoroughly wash and dry the grapes: Using a paper towel or clean tea towels, ensure the grapes are dry to prevent excess water from thinning the dressing.
- Chill before serving: Let the salad sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
