Caramel Apple Cobbler

This easy Caramel Apple cobbler is the perfect fall dessert. Sweet apples are baked beneath a buttery, crumbly crust for a dessert that is made with just 4 simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 21 oz. cans of apple pie filling
  • 1 13.25 oz. box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits
  • 1 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Pour the two cans of apple pie filling into the bottom of the baking dish and smooth out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the caramel bits over the pie filling.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over top of everything.
  • Melt the 1 cup butter by microwaving in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds, stirring, and 30 seconds more.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, trying to distribute as evenly as possible.
  • Bake at 350 for 35- 40 minutes, until the cobbler is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  • Server warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
This recipe can be doubled.
