Bird Nest Cookies

These festive bird nest cookies are the easiest no bake dessert for the Easter season. Just a few simple ingredients to make these Easter treats and they look adorable on your holiday table.

Ingredients

  • 2 5 oz. cans chow mein noodles
  • 1 24 oz.bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 9 oz. bag Cadbury mini chocolate eggs

Instructions

  • Add the chow mein noodles to a large bowl.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips on 30 second intervals, stirring well between, until melted.
  • Pour chocolate over chow mein noodles, and stir to combine and coat the noodles with chocolate.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and spoon chow mein noodles into small piles on the parchment paper.
  • Using your spoon, press down slightly and arrange the chocolate covered noodles to make a nest shape in the center of the cookies for the chocolate eggs.Place the nests into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to set the chocolate.
  • Add 2-3 mini eggs to each nest.
