BBQ Chicken Sliders

- 1 pack 12 count Hawaiian rolls
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken - shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- ½ cup shredded green cabbage
- ½ cup shredded purple cabbage
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- 1 teaspoon salt - divided
- 1 teaspoon pepper - divided
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, ½ t teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper..
In a separate large mixing bowl, add the green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, ½ t teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, paprika, sour cream, lemon juice, and mayonnaise. Mix until well combined.
Cut the rolls horizontally to make a top half and bottom half. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
Spread the chicken in an even layer on the rolls, then top with the slaw. Place the top buns on top.
Melt butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and spread it on the top buns.
Bake uncovered for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the sliders are heated through.
Remove from the oven. Serve warm and enjoy!
