Jameson Whiskey Sour

This Jameson Whiskey Sour combines Irish whiskey with the tartness of freshly squeezed lemon juice and the subtle sweetness of simple syrup. A delicious cocktail any time of year.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Jameson Irish whiskey
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 ½ ounces simple syrup
  • Fresh lemon slices for garnish optional
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish optional
  • Ice
  • 1 egg white optional

Instructions

  • Add about 1 cup of ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add Jameson, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well to combine and chill.
  • Fill your glass with fresh ice, and pour the cocktail, strained, into the glass.
  • Garnish with a fresh lemon slice and a maraschino cherry.

If adding Egg White

    • To use an egg white, you use a dry shake. If adding egg whites mix all the ingredients without the ice, shake the ingredients for 20-30 seconds and then add the ice and shake again.
